They will develop comprehension of the purpose, origin and significance of international celebrations and commemorations. They will conduct an inquiry into the origin and significance of a celebration or commemoration and record and communicate their information through visual form (information graphics). They will also investigate Remembrance Day; it’s origin and significance around the world.
The key concepts addressed in this lesson are sources, significance and perspective.
