Students will investigate life in late 18th Century Britain. After being provided with a brief overview of the era in a comic strip format, students practise gathering and analysing information from a database. In extension activities, students can learn about and imagine the life of a criminal and enact a court case. This lesson focusses on developing the historical skills and concepts of research, cause and effect, empathetic understanding, and perspectives.
