In this lesson the students study some key geographical features on the Asian continent, including mountain ranges, National Parks, deserts, volcanoes and significant waterways and conduct their own research into one particular feature. The island of Komodo in Indonesia is studied in detail and the students also consider the geography of Southern hemisphere in general. The geographical tools of maps, spacial technologies, and visual representations are used.
